Consistency
Consistency checks are not just excellent for maintaining uniformity and accuracy within large translation projects, but they're also crucial for cleaning and maintaining translation memories. By reducing duplication and discrepancies, they ensure your translation memories remain efficient, reliable, and high-quality. A compact, powerful tool for any translator's arsenal.
Check Target Inconsistency
The check identifies instances where the same source segments have different translations.

  • Ignore space types: Prevents reporting a discrepancy if two segments differ solely by the type (but not the number) of spaces used.
  • Ignore case: Conducts an additional case-insensitive check to identify inconsistencies in segments that could otherwise appear different.
  • Check without tags: Performs an extra check excluding tags to identify discrepancies in segments that may otherwise be deemed different.
  • Ignore numbers: Conducts an additional check excluding numbers to identify inconsistencies in segments that could otherwise appear different.
  • Ignore plural form (English only): Carries out an extra check treating words in singular and plural forms as identical.
  • Ignore punctuation and spaces: When enabled, punctuation and separators are disregarded.
Auto-correction is available for tag-less segments.
Check Source Inconsistency
The check identifies instances where different source segments have identical translations. The options for this check are the same as for target inconsistency.
